Terms and Conditions
A non refundable/non transferable deposit is required to show commitment & reserve your appointment. Appointments will only be held for 24 hours without a deposit. If you need to re arrange your appointment for any reason, a £25 re booking fee will be required. "No shows" will find me reluctant to book in the future without full payment in advance.
(1a) Gift Voucher's Gift voucher's are avaialble to purchase in studio, via email, Facebook messenger or phone for any amount from £10 upward or for specific packages. Full payment is required at the time of purchase. Voucher's are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please note that I do not except expired voucher's or offer extensions under any circumstances and I do not give change.
(1b) The use of a Gift Voucher/Paying in full at time of booking If you book a session and intend to pay with a voucher, you may be asked to pay a £20 deposit which will be refunded to you on the day of your session if the appointment is kept. If you need to cancel or re arrange your session, this deposit will not be refunded and a 2nd non refundable £20 deposit will be required to reserve your new appointment. If you choose to pay in full at the time of booking and need to cancel/re arrange, non refundable £25 deposit will be required to reserve your new appointment. Please note that I do not except out of date voucher's under any circumstances.
(2) The Balance.
For all packages, the remaining balance is due on the day of your photo shoot and I accept cash, Debit/Credit card, bank transfer or Paypal. Payment plans available on request. Images of non paying customer's will be deleted 30 days after their session unless a payment plan has been signed.
(3) My all inclusive Packages.
All of my package prices include both your photo shoot and unlimited digital downloads however, USB's are available on request for £5. Although our packages include unlimited professionally edited images, photographs are selected, edited and released at your photographer's discretion. I will honor requests for specific photographs subject to the following: weather, time, availability and co-operation of the person(s) concerned. I cannot be held responsible for the lack of coverage caused by clients not arriving on time, un cop-operative children nor, when on location, by restrictions placed on the photographer by venues or the great Britsh weather. I do not guarantee any specific picture nor to include any specific background, location, props, or arrangement, although every effort will be made to interpret the Client’s wishes. I ammore than happy to remove scratches, spots, dribble and snot in post production but specific requests for skin retouching, iris enhancement, tattoo and chin removal will require an additional charge.
RAW images will be deleted after 14 days and processed images will be stored for 12 months in a secure location.
At the time of booking we will ask you for your name, contact email and phone number in order to communicate with you. We may ask your children's names and ages in advance in order to plan your session accordingly along with any special needs they may have. All of this is necessary for us to do our job efficiently. We do keep a paper diary in which just your name, the type of package you have booked and the media in which you cotacted us is stored. If you would prefer us not to use your full name in the diary, please let us know at the time of booking. Personal date can be collected via email, Facebook or over the phone and is stored using an online GDPR compliant database which is only accessible through a secure password of which only we have access and paper booking forms are stored in a lockable filing cabinet. During the editing process, images are stored on a computer which is password protected. After 3 months your images will be moved onto a password protected external hard drive which is stored in a secure location for a further 9 months. 12 months after your session, all images will be deleted.
(4a) Right of confirmation, access, rectification and erasure
You have the right to see the data we have stored about you, to correct it or request it be deleted at any time.
We promise to only contact you if and when it is relevant to do so, even if you join our mailing list and there will always be the option to opt out. We never pass on your details or images to third parties.
(4b) The use of your images for promotional purposes
We love to publish images on social media. In fact, if your Facebok preview can get 100 likes (or loves!) you will recieve a FREE 10x8 print of your choice as a thank you for your help in advertising our little business. However, if you would prefer we did not publish your images, that's absolutely fine. We sometimes use images to advertise events and offer's in Jimmy's Farm magazine, on poster's in the studio, on the outside wall of the barn and at children's markets and fairs but if you prefer we didn't use your photo's, just let us know at your session. WE NEVER SELL YOUR IMAGES OR YOUR INFORMATION ONTO THIRD PARTIES.
(5) Studio Etiquite
Out of respect for your photographer, the use of personal camera's/camera phones is not permitted during your photo shoot without prior permission.
(5a) Your photographer can not be held accountable for your child's behavior during their session. We understand how important it is that we capture these precious moments for you and we promise to do everything we can to persuade your child to co-operate. We have lots of tricks up our sleeves to get your little ones on set and bring out those cheeky grins but, by law, there is only so much we can do. Lol. You're more than welcome to bring your little ones favorite toys, comforter's and even bribes but if you do not want these in your photo's, please leave them at home. Your photographer reserves the right to stop your session at any time.
(5b) Parents remain responsible for their children at all times. All breakages must be paid for.
(5c) Illness If you know your child is poorly, please do not bring them to the studio. I have a strict 48 hr rule for sickness and diarrhea bugs and a minimum of 14 days for contagious diseases such as Chicken pox, Scarlet Fever and Hand, foot and mouth. If you or anyone you have had contact with within the last 14 days are showing symptoms of COVID 19. Please STAY AT HOME! Please refer back to paragraph (1) regarding my cancelation policy.
(6) Post production
Owing to photochromatic anomalies caused by a combination of certain dyes and materials, especially in man-made fibres, it is sometimes impossible to record on camera the exact colour of materials as perceived by the human eye. When processing images, we will endeavor to achieve a pleasing overall colour balance based on natural flesh tones. It is understood that some colours may not remain consistent throughout a set of photographs owing to variations in lighting conditions. It is also understood that all photographic printing is undertaken within the technical limitations of the process and that colour may not be identical over the whole range within a subject. The colour balance of prints made at different times or in varying sizes may also be variable. Due to the limitations of computer monitors it is understood that images may appear differently according to the specification of each monitor and that prints will not match images rendered on any particular computer monitor. Post production includes the removel of scratches, spots, newborn babies flaky skin, jaundice, dribble and snot but specific requests for skin retouching, iris enhancement, tattoo and fat removal will require an additional charge.
(7) Digital downloads.
We ask for up to 4 weekss to process your digital images. Your digital downloads will be emailed to the address you gave us during the booking process. As we do not pay for cloud storage, the download link is only valid for 7 days. Your email may go into your junk box if we are not in your address book so please make sure you check before contacting us as to the where abouts of your digital downloads. Please be aware that if you do not have access to a PC, you may need to install an app to your device in order to download and view your images. If you have any problems with your downloads please do not hesitate to get in touch. USB's are available for an additional charge or you are welcome to provide your own but htese must be collected. GDPR guidlines state that un encrypted USB's can not be posted for data security reasons. Occasionally we may be able to personally deliver them but you will be charged for our time and fuel.
(8) Copyright Law.
All images remain Copyright Little Wattsits Photography therefore if you wish to use an alternative printing company, by law you will need a print release staement which will be given to you at your session. We welcome the publication of our work on social media however, as we do not watermark your images we politely request that you credit your images to Little Wattsits Photography and include a link to our website. Please be aware that by editing or altering your images in any way, you will be breaking the law and deeply offending your photographer.
(9d) Print release. We do not accept responsobility for canvases, prints, wall art or gifts purchased from other companies. Please note that original images are cropped using the camera’s own ratio thus images may need to be adjusted to the required print size/ratio before printing to prevent the loss of the edge of the image. If you wish us to re size your images in order for you to use another printing company to print them, you will be charged for our time. The cropping/editing of your own images is strictly prohibited and in doing so, you will be breaking the law and deeply offending your photographer.
Please be advised that by paying the deposit you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.
